Diana was a successful accountant for many years. However, one morning she woke up and realized that a tax accountant was not what she had envisioned being when she grew up. So forsaking her adding-machine and account ledgers, she turned to her childhood love - drawing and painting. She founded Glowing Gifts, a company that produced unique, hand-painted gifts, specializing in picture mattings.

Motivated by the enthusiastic reception of her floral styles, she decided to experiment within her field of hobbies - miniatures. Thus Twinkling Treasures was born.

Bedroom sets of dainty, victorian flowers, coordinated with delicately complimenting bedding began emerging within every color scheme and combination. And adding a personal touch to each to bring them to life, she began naming them. Tranquility Blue, Rose Parade, Passion for Purple, Purk and Pinkle, PeriTwinkle Blue, Peaches and Cream. The very names characterize the desire of their creator - to provide a dollhouse set that is unique, but affordable, to be cherished by their owner in their very own, special miniature home.

As her furniture began migrating to all parts of the country, her creative juices began to flow freely. Floral designs moved over to be joined by ducks swimming in a pond, racing cars, orbiting astronauts, guarding lighthouses, swash-buckling pirate ships, dancing clowns, tropical flamingos and so much more! Each new set is a creation of hours of thought, influenced by the tastes and wishes of her customers. Despite the investment of time and effort she insists, "Designing and painting miniatures feels more like playing than working."
